Five-year-old Charlie Kerr of Anderson Creek and her cousin, 10-yearold Elisa Kerr, visiting from San Diego, did what lots of children do on the weekends, they opened a lemonade stand. Charlie and Elisa didn’t keep the money they made to go to the movies or buy candy; they donated it to the Harnett County Animal Shelter.
