Three Dunn residents face methamphetamine charges in Sampson County following a Thursday search.
According to Sampson County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Marcus Smith, multiple charges were filed against Robert Kelly Alphin, 35, Kristin Louise Gainey, 27, and Jody Dustin Kennedy, 33, after agents were searching a Spring Branch Road residence for Mr. Kennedy.
“The Sampson County Special Investigation went to the property to assist probation and parole with a court-ordered warrantless search on Jody,” Lt. Smith said. “Upon arriving at the location, investigators located meth precursors and other items consistent with manufacturing meth. As a result, the three subjects were taken into custody and charged.”
According to a Sampson County Sheriff’s Office report, Mr. Alphin was charged with six counts of possession of meth precursors, one count of maintaining a place or dwelling for controlled substances, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of misdemeanor child abuse.
Ms. Gainey and Mr. Kennedy were charged with two counts of possession of meth precursor, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of maintaining a place or dwell for controlled substances each.
All three subjects were booked into the Sampson County Detention Center under $70,000 secured bonds.
