Campbell Visits Dayton In PFL

Campbell puts its 3-0 Pioneer Football League record on the line Saturday at Dayton.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Welcome Stadium.

Campbell, 4-2 overall, defeated visiting Valparaiso 49-10 in week six action in Buies Creek. Dayton (2-4, 1-2 PFL) is coming off a 20-10 win at Drake.

In their 10th season, the Camels are 3-0 in PFL play for the second time. CU began the 2014 season 4-0 in the league.

Daniel Smith threw for four touchdowns and ran for another and Campbell defeated Valparaiso 49-10 last week.

Smith set a school Division I era (since 2008) record for touchdowns accounted for in a game to lead Campbell, which scored 49 straight points after trailing 7-0.
