Harnett Retired School Personnel Awards Scholarships

The Harnett County Retired School Personnel Endowment Scholarship Chairman H.L. Sorrell Jr. announced the recipients of its annual scholarships. The Retired School Personnel Endowment is a component of the Harnett County Community Foundation.

Shaniqw Laurell Williams, a junior at Campbell University School of Pharmacy & Health Science, has been awarded a $1,000 Harnett County Retired School Personnel Scholarship for 2017. Ms. Williams is majoring in pharmacy.

Kimberly Denita Dudley, a junior at Fayetteville State University, has been awarded a $700 Harnett County Retired School Personnel Scholarship for 2017. Ms. Dudley is seeking a degree in social work.

The scholarships have been made possible by a grant from the North Carolina Community Foundation, a charitable community foundation serving the people of the state. Harnett County is an affiliate of the NCCF.
