Dunn Police Looking For More Robbers


Dunn Police is investigating a second robbery in two days in Dunn.

The D& H Mart store No. 2 located at 1001 Fairground Road was robbed Monday night around 10. The store clerk stepped outside the store and was walking back inside when two black men approached him and forced him back inside the store. When police arrived, the store clerk was laying on the floor, suffering a bloody lip and black eye. During the robbery the victim was punched in the head and stomach. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money along with an undisclosed amount of scratch-off lottery tickets.

The suspects, who were both wearing black hoodies, were last seen running toward Fairground Road.

The first robbery took place Sunday around midnight outside a home in Dunn where a Domino’s Pizza deliveryman was robbed by three masked gunmen. The home was up for sale, but the robbers had removed the “For Sale” signs.
