Sampson Community Preparing For ‘Les Misérables’

The cast run through lines in a scene in The Sampson Community Theatre’s upcoming production of the classic musical ‘Les Misérables,’ based on a French historical novel by Victor Hugo first published in 1862. With music by Claude-Michel Shönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönber, this lively production is directed by Angela Martin. ‘Les Misérables’ is presented by special arrangement with Music Theatre International. Performances will be presented on April 28, 29, May 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and matinees on April 30 and May 7 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. The theater is located at 115 Fayetteville St., Clinton.
