Brandon Hairr, 29, of Dunn has been arrested in connection with thefts from the Dunn-Erwin Landfill.
He was charged with felony larceny and possessing or concealing stolen property. He was detained at the Harnett County Jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
Harnett County Public Information Officer Brian Haney stated that a representative from Harnett County Solid Waste said the Dunn-Erwin Landfill had been dealing with vandalism, trespassing and property damage for more than a year and that someone was cutting through the fence.

Since 2004, Mr. Hairr has been convicted with more than a halfdozen drug-related charges, serving at least six months. He was one of more than 40 people arrested in connection with Operation Pressure Cooker, culminating in January.
He was again arrested Sunday on charges of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and has since been released. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 29.
