John Kelly Faircloth Sr., 84, of Wallace died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
He was born on Jan. 27, 1933, in Harnett County, son of the late Seavy and Alwin DeVane Faircloth. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Mildred House Faircloth; brother, Seavy Faircloth Jr.; and sisters, Julie Allen, Doris West and Hazel Faircloth.
Mr. Faircloth was owner and operator of his own upholstery shop.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. today at Harnett Devotional Gardens, 5665 Fairground Road, Dunn, with the Pastor Craig Richardson officiating.
Survivors include his children, John Kelly Faircloth Jr., Ronnie Faircloth and wife Reneé of Manassas, Va., Dianne Hall and husband Jerry of Wilmington, Timothy Faircloth and wife Chris of Plattsmouth, Neb.; grandchildren, Wendy Wells and husband Jack, Jeremy Faircloth and wife Christina, Kelly Faircloth III and wife Katrina, Nick Hall, Natalie Faircloth, Amy Faircloth, Michelle Mull and husband Christopher, Sean Faircloth and wife Jessi; great-grandchildren, Austin Faircloth, Luke Wells, Matthew Wells, Grayson Faircloth and Madison Faircloth; sisters, Erbie Messer of Charlotte, Sybil Norris and husband Landon of Dunn and Letha Lake and Phil of Oak Island; and numerous nieces and nephews.
