The Economic Development Division of the Dunn Chamber will hold a Business Impact: I-95 Widening Project Luncheon on Thursday, March 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dunn Community Building located at 205 Jackson Road, Dunn. Lunch is $12 per person and advance registration is required.
This luncheon will include featured presentations and a panel discussion by representatives of the North Carolina Department of Transportation; Gannett Fleming Inc., an international company offering infrastructure solutions with a focus on planning, design, technology and construction management services; and Michael Baker International, an engineering, planning and consulting business that encompasses the complete life-cycle of planning, environmental assessment, engineering design, construction management and facilities maintenance.
Presenters will include Greg Burns, division engineer, NCDOT 6th Transportation Division; and Scott Boyles, regional manager to Gannett Fleming. The audience panel discussion will feature Mr. Boyles; Mr. Burns, Steve Kendall and Randy Wise, all engineers with NCDOT; and Michael Baker International representatives, Emaly Simone and Susan Lancaster.
According to Rodney Stewart, vice president of economic development, “This luncheon is a great opportunity to get informed on the scope of this project and how it will impact our city.”
