Burchett, Rozier exchange marriage vows

Samantha Hope Burchett and Daniel Nicholas Rozier were united in marriage in a double-ring afternoon ceremony at Randall’s Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Newton Grove. The Rev. Horace Johnson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marty and Cindy Burchett of Wade. She is the granddaughter of Ann Chapman of Wade. She is attending Campbell University majoring in pharmaceutical research and is employed as a pharmacy tech at Walgreens in Dunn.

The groom is the son of Norman Rozier of Vander. He is the grandson of Darius and Isabelle Rozier of Vander. He is a graduate of Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, Florida, and is employed with Godwin Manufacturing Co. in Dunn.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

A remembrance table honored Charles Chapman, Larry Burchett, Bertha Jackson, Lettie Bass, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kiloran and Charlie Fitzgerald.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Sarah Burchett of Wade. Bridesmaid was Jordon Bowen.

Serving the groom as best man was Chase MacFadden. Groomsman was Kristen Rozier of New Bern.

The wedding was directed by Sherry Starling.

Attending the guest register was Jacob Blackman.

Following a honeymoon in Sarasota, Florida, the couple now resides in Wade.

A reception was hosted by the bride’s parents at Randall’s Chapel PFWB Church Fellowship Hall.

Katie Jo Tyndall served cake. Assisting at the reception were Deanna Lawhorn and Mattie Mitchell.

The groom’s family, including Mr. and Mrs. Joel Scott, and Mrs. Noreen Fitzgerald, hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall.
