J. Bradley Creed, the fifth president of Campbell University since its beginning in 1887, spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Coats on Aug. 5 at Ron’s Barn.

He gave a brief history of Campbell and also talked about educational programs of study available for this fall, with 4,000 students enrolled. An exciting new addition to the Campbell campus, he said, is the new student union located on Leslie Campbell Avenue. It should be completed by January 2020.

Guests at the meeting were members of the Coats Lions Club, Kiwanis Club of Angier and Kiwanis Club of Lillington.
