Holiday musical
set Dec. 14

A holiday musical, “Hats & Brims Luncheon Extravaganza,” will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, at Holy Mission Holiness Church. A free lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and worship service begins at 2 p.m. Come enjoy the holiday season in your stylish hats and enjoy gospel music. Minister Greg Mitchell of Lillington will be the master of ceremony. Featured on the program will be The Lillington Mass Choir, Elmon Pipkin & The Spiritual Crusaders, and international recording artist Bonita Simmons of New Bern.

Holy Mission is located at 180 Holy Mission Lane, Lillington. The pastor is Eudora Womack. The event is sponsored by Dr. Betty Franks.

Musicians appreciation program at Davis Chapel

Davis Chapel Holiness Church, 164 Bruce Johnson Road, Lillington, will hold a musicians appreciation program on Saturday at 6 p.m. They will honor Deacon Bobby Davis, Elijah McLean, Chris Davis and Minister of Music Teresa Alabere. Several groups will be on the program. You are invited to join them. Michael A. McDuffie is pastor.

Outdoor live Nativity at Jonesboro Baptist

At Jonesboro Baptist Church in Dunn, the outdoor live Nativity drama, “Wonderful Savior,” will be performed Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, with showtimes at 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. The drama will be in the field behind the sanctuary. Come and experience the excitement of seeing Mary and Joseph and the babe, the angels, the shepherds, the townspeople, and the wise men as they worship the newborn king. The 20-minute drama includes authentic costumes, Christmas music and scripture. The pastor, the Rev. Charles Price, invites all to attend. The church is located at 2020 Jonesboro Road in Dunn.

The Love Center to hold Women’s Fellowship

The women of The Love Center would like to invite you to their Women’s Fellowship on Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. They meet the second Friday of each month. Come join the love experience through fellowship, food, prayer and the word. In fun, a gift exchange in the amount of $10 will be part of the fellowship. The church is located at 345 Jackson Road, Dunn.

Community sing
set Saturday

Free Gospel Community Church will hold a community sing Saturday at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Featured will be the Faith Singers and Ann Langston. The church is located at 205 Prince St., Dunn.

Christmas program
at Crestview

There will be a Christmas program Sunday at 6 p.m. at Crestview Baptist Church. The church is located in the Spivey’s Corner community on U.S. Highway 421 near the N.C. Highway 242 intersection.

Musical appreciation program at Free
Will Bethel

Free Will Bethel Church, located at 4004 Bunnlevel Erwin Road Erwin, will host its annual musical appreciation program Sunday at 3 p.m. Guests include The Master Keys, Riverside Community Choir, Elder Richard Downey and family and more.
