The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is now looking for a man who went missing Saturday night.
Jamelle Corneilus Brown, 30, of Cameron in Harnett County was last seen in his room at approximately 10 p.m. Saturday.
Family members alerted deputies with the sheriff’s office at approximately 5 a.m. Monday. He also did not show up for work Monday morning which his employers said was highly unusual.
The sheriff’s office has conducted an extensive search which has included checking jails and hospitals, canvassing neighborhoods and using bloodhounds, all with negative results.
Mr. Brown has been entered into the statewide Silver Alert system operated by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety.
Mr. Brown is believed to wearing shorts and a T-shirt and is also possibly wearing a black hoodie. He is believed to be walking.
