The Midway Raiders varsity volleyball team lost a home nonconference match against Triton Monday night by a score of 3-2.
Head coach for Triton, Wendy Simmons, said, “It feels great to have a win, haven’t felt this in a while. The girls worked hard since the first match.”
Mrs. Simmons said she is proud with the outcome of the match. “They worked until the end and did not give up,” she said.
Midway’s head coach, Brandy Wrench, said, “For the last two games, they have not played well, not moving their feet as they should. Other teams like Triton will take advantage of that.”
She also said that Triton played hard until the end leading to the win over Midway.
