Local golf pro Sam Giallombardo is set to host "P.E. Class," a free event that teaches home-schoolers the basics of golf.

BUIES CREEK— Award-winning local golf professional Sam Giallombardo, PGA, will be leading "P.E. Class" to teach homeschooling families the basics of golf.
Keith Hills Golf Club is the site for the one-day class that is scheduled for this Thursday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m.
Students will be introduced to the basics of golf – specifically, putting, chipping and driving.
Last year, Giallombardo was named a Top 50 Golf Coach by Operation 36, a national golf player development program.
Keith Hills Golf Academy is the flagship for the Operation 36 program. This player development program was born in Buies Creek and now is utilized at over 530 golf facilities across the globe.
