DUNN — The Dunn Parks and Recreation Department recently crowned its 13-and-under and 10u boys basketball champions.

In the 13u contest,  Latrell McDougald Team 2 beat Vincent Pressley Team 1, 33-22 in Saturday’s final at the Dr. P.K. Vyas Recreational Center

Harry Johnson scored a game-high 18 points. Other teammates joining Johnson in helping the group to a 7-2 record this season were Ethan Barefoot, Travis Williams, Bryce Johnson, Harry Johnson, Jonathan Stephenson, Palmer Ennis, Holden Carter, Luke Hardison, Reggie Pegues, Tyrone Blue and Jashawn King. 

The 10u title was captured by Tre Williams Team 2, who topped Angela Smith Team 3 by a score of 25-6.

Samuel Scott netted a game-high eight points in the win. He helped the team to a perfect 10-0 record and was joined by teammates Kentarius Williams, Rondarius Williams, Samuel Scott, Kenan McKethan, Cameron Austin, Aiden Cuttino, Cameron Cuttino, Noah Wilkerson, Jordan Stratford and Noah Brewington.
