Clifford Seth Coats, 38, of Benson, is charged with possessing methamphetamine.

Melissa Joanne Lapre, 31, of Four Oaks, is charged with possessing methamphetamine.

Ashlee Renee Henderson, 40, of Four Oaks, is charged with first-degree burglary.

Sept. 14

Walter Alexander James, 44, of Benson, was arrested on an out-of-state warrant. He was held in the Johnston County Detention Center pending extradition. In Johnston County, he also faces charges of trafficking in ecstasy (MDMA), possessing heroin with an intent to distribute it, and two counts each of breaking and entering to terrorize or injure and possessing a Schedule II controlled substance. Due to the state’s three-strikes law and past convictions, he is also being tried as an habitual felon.

Harnett County Sheriff’s Office

Sept. 16

Benjamin Lee Bradley Jr., 29, of Angier, is charged with possessing a firearm as a felon. Deputies booked him into the Harnett County Detention Center without bond.

Sampson County Sheriff’s Office

Sept. 15

Chester Surles, 34, of Fort Bragg, is charged with possessing cocaine. Deputies booked him into the Sampson County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.

Michael Lane, 62, of Newton Grove, is charged with three counts of trafficking methamphetamine, two counts of possessing meth with an intent to distribute it and one count each of possessing a precursor used in meth production, selling meth, delivering meth and maintaining a place for a controlled substance. Deputies booked him into the Sampson County Detention Center ufner a bond of $101,000.
