DUNN — The City of Dunn Parks and Recreation Department has opened registration for its fall sports programs from now through Aug. 19.
Football, soccer, volleyball and cheerleading are among the activities set to return this year.
Flag football is offered for children ages 6 to 8, while tackle football (ages 7 to 13) is separated into three different groupings.
Both leagues are set to begin with a draft on Aug. 22.
Players are asked to be prepared and wear cleats.
Soccer will have co-ed teams for kids ages 7 to 8. Meanwhile, both boys and girls leagues are offered for the 10-and-under and 13-and-under groups.
Drafts are scheduled on Aug. 29 and 30 for the 10u and 13u leagues, respectively, and Sept. 1 for the co-ed grouping.
Volleyball registration is open for both children and adults.
Youth leagues are offered for 10-, 12- and 15u, with the draft date slated for Aug. 20. Adult league sign-ups are open now through July 25.
Cheer programs for 8-, 10-, and 12u will begin Aug. 22 at 6 p.m.
Each league’s age date is Nov. 1, 2022. Sign-up fees for Dunn residents are $25 and $60 for out-of-towners.
