DUNN — Registration is now open for youth sports summer camps at the Dunn Parks and Recreation Department. 

Children ages 8 to 15 are eligible for instruction in basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball.

Registration can be completed at the parks and rec office or online.

Basketball camps will run June 14-17 at the Dr. P.K. Vyas Recreation Center.

Boys will be instructed by longtime Triton coach T.J. Morrison, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The girls camp is expected to run on the same days from 1 to 4 p.m., and will be hosted by Sarah Wells and Tara Strickland.

Both tennis and volleyball camps are set for June 21-24.

Tennis runs Monday through Thursday, from 8 to 11 a.m. at Tyler Park. Volleyball is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. at the Vyas Center.

Teri Brown and Staci Smith will provide instruction for both camps. 

Softball and baseball are scheduled for June 28 through July 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at Tyler Park. 

Indoor and outdoor soccer camps will be available July 12-15 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Vyas Center. 

Each camp is limited to 20 participants and carries a $20 registration fee.
