Erwin to host two-day Outdoor Christmas Market

Concert Saturday will feature two area bands

An Outdoor Christmas Market, sponsored by local attorney Tim Morris, will be held this year in the parking lot at the old Erwin Mill Friday and Saturday.

During opening night, Friday, Dec. 4, from 5 to 9 p.m. there will be carriage rides, a variety of vendors and food trucks, “A Night Before Christmas” story booth with books for children, Santa visits and many other fun surprises.

The Christmas Market will conclude Saturday, Dec. 5. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a variety of vendors, food trucks, visits with Santa and music.

Come out to hear some favorite country and rock hits with the Carolina Rattler band kicking things off at 2 p.m. and local band, Identity Crisis, taking the stage at 4 p.m.

The chamber is holding a Gingerbread House Contest. To participate, email the chamber at contact@erwinchamber.org with Gingerbread in the subject line.

Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to the Christmas Market to be donated to a local food bank.
