Fall sports registration now open for Dunn Parks and Rec

DUNN — The City of Dunn Parks and Recreation has now opened an online-only registration for its fall youth sports leagues.

There will be no registration fees taken at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Once a clear start date is determined, registration fees will be required or children will not be able to participate.

Registration fees are as follows:

  • Resident participants: $20 per child
  • Nonresident participants: $60 for first child and $40 for each additional child

A City of Dunn water bill is needed for proof of residency. Registration will be accepted on the parks and rec website until Aug. 26.

The rec department is also hosting its second gaming event of the summer, the ESports NBA 2K20 Tournament will start on July 14 and end on July 19.

This event is open to the public and registration is free. To register, click the sign-up button found on the City of Dunn Parks and Recreation Facebook page. To sign up or sign in on RecDesk, go to programs and select “E-Sports” and register for your respective tournament.

Active PS Plus or Xbox Live accounts are required. Brackets will be emailed to each individual with gamertags of who will be playing. You must be at least 18 years old to register. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian to register them for this event.

Registration ends July 10.
