Four Seasons Garden Club meets at greenhouse

Posted

Members of the Lillington’s Four Seasons Garden Club gathered in person for the April meeting after many months of virtual events held via Zoom.

Nine members met at Stewart’s Greenhouse in Linden.

Barb Wilson presided over an informal short meeting on the grounds.

Malissa Stewart Parker, owner and manager of the greenhouse, shared the family history and growth of the business.

Afterward, members enjoyed checking out all the beautiful plants and making their purchases. The members brought a folding chair and bag lunch. Hostesses Alpha Holder and Elaine Currin provided the beverage and dessert.

“Everyone enjoyed a beautiful day outside and the food and fellowship,” reported club member Nan Wheeler.

The next meeting will be held on May 5 at Lillington City Park. The officers for the garden club year of 2021-2022 will be installed.
