The Harnett Central girls tennis team is poised to make history this weekend when a program-record four athletes take the court during Friday’s North Carolina High School Athletic Association Mideast 3A Regional at Burlington Tennis Center.

A pair of Lady Trojans doubles teams, along with two singles participants, were selected to the regionals field.

Brittany Mills and Ann Thompson recorded a 9-1 doubles mark for Central this season, while Malaya McFadyen and Anna Vreeling went 7-3. Both veteran tandems hope to extend their prep careers and book a trip to states.
