JoCo board to meet Monday

The Johnston County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday, June 21, at 6 p.m.

In an effort to continue social distancing practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be held in the Old Superior Courtroom (Courtroom No. 4) located in the Johnston County Courthouse at 207 E. Johnston St., Smithfield.

There will be seating available for the public and the meetings will also be livestreamed on Johnston County Government’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/jocogovNC.

Citizens that wish to address the board during public comment but have concerns with physically attending the meeting may e-mail their comments to Clerk to the Board Paula Woodard at paula.woodard@johnstonnc.com by Monday at noon.
