DUNN — Juanita Langdon McLeod, age 77, of Dunn died Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Juanita was born on Oct. 23, 1943, in Wake County, the daughter of the late William B. and Martha Johnson Langdon and was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin Glenn McLeod. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Butler; brothers, Bernice, Brodie and Steve Langdon; and sisters, Rose Marie Langdon and Julia Mae Myers.
Juanita was retired from Morganite in Dunn. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed quilting, sewing and being a good homemaker. She enjoyed going to the mountains and had just been in May.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, at 1 p.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Price officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
She is survived by daughters, Teresa M. Butler and husband Philip of Newton Grove, and Tammy M. Williford and husband Brian of Dunn; sister, JoAnn Hood of White Oak; and brothers, David Langdon of Dunn and Rex Langdon of Willow Spring; grandchildren, Brett Butler, Matt Williford and Jayden Williford; and special friend, Gene Berube.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 11, 2021, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, prior to the funeral, and other times at her home at 918 Weeks Road, Dunn.
