Keen, Herring are married on the beach

Ericka Keen and Corby Herring were married at Carolina Beach during a double-ring ceremony officiated by Chris Tullis.

The bride is the daughter of Ann Keen of Benson and Rick Keen of Reidsville. She is the granddaughter of the late Earl and Janie Fowler. She is a 2006 graduate of West Johnston High School and is a self-employed hair stylist.

The groom is the son of Loyde Earl Herring of Benson and Sylvia Phillips of Dunn. He is a 2006 graduate of South Johnston High School and is self employed in the construction industry.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Ricky Keen.

Remembered at the wedding were the bride’s grandmother, the late Janie Fowler; and the bride’s infant cousin, the late Conner Ryan Hodges.

Attendants

Flower girls were Saylor-Claire Herring and Karleigh Sue Hodges.

Miniature bride was Madelyn Grace Herring.

Ring bearer was Riley Adam Keen.

The wedding was directed by Tabitha Tullis.

The couple will reside in Benson.

Reception

The bride’s mother hosted a reception at Carolina Beach. Assisting with the cake was Angela Culver. Also assisting at the reception was Shauna Vaughan.

Luncheon

A luncheon was given by Susan, Haley, Olivia and Eddie Fowler in Benson.
