The Campbell women's basketball team concluded its regular season with a last-second win over UNC Asheville at home Wednesday and now looks forward to next week's Big South Championship tournament.

BUIES CREEK— Faith Price hit the go-ahead layup with 1.2 seconds remaining to lift Campbell over UNC Asheville 52-51, at home Wednesday.

Luana Serranho scored a game-high 18 points for Campbell (14-6, 11-4) who will enter the Big South Tournament as the No. 2 seed.

UNC Asheville (10-14, 9-10) dropped its fourth straight game to close out the season.

Asheville took a 27-22 lead into halftime and led by as much as eight following a layup from Nadiria Evans with 6:54 left in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs held onto the lead through most of the fourth quarter until Campbell went on a 12-4 run, capped by a Serranho layup, plus the foul, to put CU ahead 51-50 with 13.6 to go.

Evans responded out of the Asheville timeout, putting the Bulldogs ahead after scoring on a give-and-go layup.

Campbell regained the lead the following possession as Price's baseline lay-in fell with 1.5 seconds on the clock. 

The No. 2 seeded Camels await its matchup for the Big South Tournament on Monday, March 8 at Gore Arena.
