Midway soccer remains unbeaten

The two clubs were tied 1-1 at the half and the Raiders’ sole second-half goal was enough to get them through the finish line.
Ruben Morales and Junior Acosta each registered an assist, while Jake Hammond collected five saves to keep the Raiders undefeated through its non-league slate.
Midway’s contest against Triton Wednesday was rescheduled to Thursday, Sept. 23 because of an irrigation pipe leak. The Raiders are set to return home Tuesday against North Duplin.
