Mark Johnson, vice president of the Dunn Area History Museum, holds the newest firearm to be raffled off for the museum this year. This Henry repeating arms on a lever-action rifle platform is actually a .410-gauge shotgun.

The shotgun includes a butt pad, sight and two loading options. It is embossed with Dunn logos and also includes Dunn Area History Museum engravings.

The museum is raffling off a total of 10 shotguns and each drawing will be limited to 250 tickets sold for $20 apiece. All proceeds will benefit the Dunn Area History Museum, a nonprofit organization.

"These are very unusual because in these times with production being so low, these are hard to get a hold of and we were lucky enough to get them to send us 10," Johnson said of the Henry Rifle Co.

The commemorative shotguns will carry serial numbers 1 through 10.

For more information or to buy a ticket, call 910-891-1772 or visit the museum at 201 E. Broad St., Dunn.
