Rescuers free marooned driver from submerged car

Dunn Emergency Services rescued a driver from a car partially submerged in the Stony Run stream Monday morning. Rescue crews responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at a bridge on Johnson Street shortly after 7 a.m. Firefighters found a man on top of a vehicle partially submerged in the stream. Rescuers secured the marooned driver with a life jacket and extended a ladder to help the man get ashore. No injuries were reported.
