Sam

The Dunn-Erwin Rotary Club recently recognized Samuel Capps as Student of the Week.

Sam, a senior at Triton High School, is the son of  Matt and Lori Capps of Dunn.

During his time at Triton, Sam has participated in the Blue Crew, Youth Legislative Assembly, Alpha Honors, Beta Club and FFA, where he is currently serving as chapter vice president. He was selected as a delegate for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award and Tarheel Boys State. He also was selected as a Morehead-Cain Scholarship nominee and Levine Scholarship School nominee. 

Sam has played baseball and soccer all four years of high school and is serving as captain of the soccer team his senior year. He is involved in his church youth group.

Sam plans to attend North Carolina State University in the fall to major in construction engineering.
