Dunn Shriners postpone classic car and truck show

Due to the concerns regarding inclement weather, the first Dunn Shriners Spring Antique, Classic, Open Car and Truck Show slated Saturday has been postponed. It will be held June 12 in the Dunn Shrine Center parking lot located at 211 N. Clinton Ave., Dunn.

Registration will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m.; judging from noon to 2 p.m.; and the awards presentation will be at 3 p.m.

This is the first spring car and truck show hosted by the Dunn Shrine Club.

The entry fee is $20 per vehicle.

Categories will include: Top 50 1900-2021; Top 5 2001-2021; Best Hot Rod; Best Truck; Best Ford Product; Best Rat Rod; Best GM Product; Best Original; Best Chevy; Best Mopar Product; President’s Choice; and Best in Show.

Dash plaques will be presented to the first 75 entries.

A disc jockey will provide music and food will be available.

Attendees are asked to practice the three Ws: Wait, wash and wear.
