Take the fight upward

Posted

According to reports, an eagle does not fight a snake on the ground. The eagle grabs the snake and immediately takes the fight upward, as this changes the battleground. Likewise, brothers and sisters, let’s take the fight upward.

When we take the fight upward into the spiritual realm with prayer and the Scriptures, we change the comfort zone of the enemy. It’s spiritual warfare, so put on that spiritual armor. We win! We are anointed for this.

The fight is not against “flesh and blood.”

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:10-12).

Indeed, let’s change the battleground and take everything upward. It’s spiritual warfare in fighting life’s battles, and nowadays it seems like demons of a different kind.

Pray and watch God change things, for God is fighting our battles; therefore, the battle is not even ours anyway.

Also, after an eagle grabs a snake, it releases the snake into the air, where the snake has no balance or stamina. It becomes useless in the air but is deadly on the ground. Take your fight up, saints.

Where is your battleground? Don’t let the enemy win with discouragement. Stay prayed up and stay in the Word of God.

Be armed with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17), and be aware and stand against Satan’s lies and schemes. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). There is divine authority in the powerful weapons of prayer and God’s Word.

“No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper…” (Is. 54:17).

It’s amazing how life comes under the rule of God, so many topics (especially nature) can be viewed from a kingdom-of-God perspective.

Brothers and sisters, be unstoppable. Don’t fight in the comfort zone of the enemy. Like an eagle, have an upward battleground. Let God take charge. Victory! We win!

Good old-fashioned advice: Make your vehicle a sanctuary.

Prayer: Saviour, we exalt Thee. It seems that we have been through high waters, but we still have a dance. Thanks for the strength to keep it moving. Thanks for constantly fighting for us. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
