Three Western Harnett softball players recently inked deals to sign with Fayetteville State University.
Western Harnett softball trio signs with FSU
In the bottom photo, Western Harnett’s Laniyah Bethea, front center, signs a deal to play at Fayetteville State University inside the high school last week. Also included in the picture on the front row are her parents Anthony Bethea, left, and Tina Perry. On the back row, from left, are her sisters Aliyanna Bethea and Nevaeh Bethea along with their brother, Jaylen Bethea. In the top photo, Western softball players Olivia and Morgan Jackson, center left and center right respectively, also sign with FSU. The sisters’ parents Andrea and Curtis Jackson accompany them on the bottom row, while their younger sibling and teammate, Sydney Jackson, stands behind them. All three players helped the Lady Eagles to a 5-6 overall record while finishing in a tie for second place in the final Tri-County 3A Conference standings.
