Winter storm delays Beatles tribute

The Return at The Stewart Theatre moved to April

The impending winter weather forecast for Friday-Saturday prompted organizers to reschedule “The Return: A Tribute to the Beatles,” concert for 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 22. The concert was originally set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, but with meteorologists predicting a strong chance of hazardous driving conditions after Friday’s winter storm, the show was moved.

All sold tickets have been transferred to the new performance date.

The concert will be held at The Stewart Theatre in downtown Dunn. Tickets are $28.

According to the Stewart Theatre’s website, “The Return got its start back in 1995 when four young friends got together to play their favorite Beatles songs just for the fun of it. It wasn’t long before they played in front of an audience at the request of a friend and as it turned out, were very well received. That show — which was supposed to be a one time thing — led to another gig, which led to another and so on until the band found themselves playing on a regular basis.”

The band has played thousands of shows and “strives to maintain the utmost level of authenticity in their show.”
