Youth baseball/softball results: April 28-May 2


Here are the latest youth baseball results reported by Dunn Parks and Recreation officials. 

Monday, May 2

During a 10-and-under softball matchup, Warren's Complete Auto of the Dunn league topped Angier, 8-7. 

Stella Lee scored two runs for Warren's Complete Auto, as did Angier's Kaitlyn Diaz.

In the 12u softball contest,  Dunn's Krab Kingz took a 9-2 victory over Angier's Team No. 2.

Hadley Evans and Allie Wynn each crossed the plate twice to lead Krab Kingz, while Faith Tessiee and Claire Wilkie accounted for Angier's runs. 
On the baseball diamond, Antioch Church topped Palmyra Lodge with a score of 9-3. 

Peyton Woodall, Tyson Stephens, London Hinson each had a pair of runs in the victory, while Cohen Norris, Levi Trent and CJ Budeshesky came across for Palmyra Lodge.

Thursday, April 28

The 10u softball matchup saw Warren's Complete Auto get past Erwin's team, 8-3. 

Sailey Grey Jones, Stella Lee, Emma Ziady, Jocelyn Young, Bristol Stephens, Whitney Godwin, Elizabeth Summer and Liliana High all contributed with one run for Warren's.

Alayna Capp, Emma Coats and Lily Bergman scored for Erwin.

The 12u softball game saw Krab Kingz take a 15-14 win over Erwin's Brent Adams.

Hadley Evans, Caroline Brown, Kaylee Clark, Mia Holden, Lilly Johnson, and Za'nia Johnson each scored two runs in the win. Meanwhile, Reagan Johnson, Danielle Fisher, Chole Lucas, Briana Johnson and Sarah Pittman all scored twice for Brent Adams. 

In 10u baseball action, Star Communications of Dunn topped Lillington's Kims Carpet, 10-0. 

Mason White, Easton Stephenson and Camden Glover each led the way with two runs apiece. 

The other 10u matchup saw Hospital Pharmacy inch past Jersey Mike's, 3-2. 

Asher Tyndall, Crayton Stanley and Garrett Puryear accounted for Hospital Pharmacy's runs, while Garret Black and Jacob Padilla scored for Jersey Mike's 

The 12u baseball matchup between Dunn and Lillington saw Palmyra Lodge get a 9-1 victory over C&J Auto.

Jackson Jernigan led Palmyra Lodge with two runs while Jack Barber came across for C&J's lone run. 

The other 12u game featured Antioch Church's 10-0 shutout win over Lillinton's Team No. 1. 

Tyson Stephens and London Hinson each had two runs in the victory.
